Contempler ou agir? Vous voulez agir concrètement face à des situations politiques ou sociales, mais par où commencer? Comment devenir un acteur de changement social? La rencontre organisée avec la jeune entrepreneuse Ece Çiftçi a pour but de répondre à ces questions en vous faisant découvrir le domaine de l’entreprenariat social, mais aussi d’exposer les manières dont on peut initier notre parcours d’entrepreneur pour avoir un impact positif sur la société. Ece partagera son expérience et son histoire qu’elle a entrepris il y a 10 ans.
Ece Çiftçi (Entrepreneur social) a commencé son parcours de responsabilité sociale à l’âge de 14 ans. Lorsqu’elle a assisté à une conférence, elle a pris conscience du fait que beaucoup d’élèves manquent de confiance en eux et reçoivent très peu d’éducation sociale et émotionnelle dans les écoles. Sa première expérience d’animation d’ateliers à destination de ses pairs s’est déroulée dans l’est de la Turquie avec 100 enfants cette même année, en fondant la société Sosyalben Academy and Counselling. SosyalBen est originaire d’Istanbul et regroupe désormais 350 volontaires répartis dans 10 bureaux de représentation nationaux et 5 étrangers. Ece étudie actuellement pour une maîtrise en gestion des organisations non gouvernementales.

Contemplate or act? Do you want to initiate concrete actions regarding politically or socially disappointing situations but you don’t know how and where to start? The meeting organized with the young entrepreneur Ece Çiftçi aims to answer these questions by introducing you to the field of social entrepreneurship. We’ll also have the chance to expose the ways in which we can initiate our entrepreneurial path to have a positive impact on the society. Ece will share her experience and her story that she began 10 years ago.
Ece Çiftçi of Turkey, 24, started her path of social responsibility at the age of 14. While attending a conference, she became acutely aware of the fact that so many students lack confidence and get very little social and emotional education in schools. Her first experience delivering workshops for peers took place in Eastern Turkey with 100 children that same year. Ece then went on to study sociology and started a student club recruiting volunteers to provide trainings for more than 60,000 young people in the field of social responsibility. Ece crowned her studies, which she initiated in the field of social enterprise, by founding the company Sosyalben Academy and Counseling. SosyalBen originated in Istanbul and now involves 350 volunteers in total from its 10 domestic and 5 foreign representative offices. Ece is currently studying for a master’s degree in management of non-governmental organizations.
